Jewelry Empire Mutations Guide

Track Jewelry Empire mutations safely, including officially named Glitched, Tempered, and Magnetic results, without inventing effects or odds.

Jewelry Empire’s official description names Glitched, Tempered, and Magnetic as rare mutations and says more exist. Those names are confirmed; their exact effects, base chances, stacking rules, item restrictions, and complete list are not published there. Use this currently documented Dex to recognize supported names while keeping unknown fields empty.

The word “rare” in the official description supports scarcity as a general idea, not a numerical rate or an order among the three names.

How to verify a mutation

Start with the live item. Record the exact mutation label, jewelry name, input batch, forge state, rarity, appraisal, visible effect text, and check date. Capture the ordinary version of the same or closest comparable item. The difference between those cards is stronger evidence than a dramatic screenshot without its baseline.

Then test one observable outcome at a time. If the mutation appears to change value, compare equivalent appraisal and customer conditions. If it appears to affect forging or mining, verify that the mutated jewelry is actually involved in that system. Do not assign a mechanic from the name alone: “Magnetic” may suggest an effect, but the suggestion is not proof.

Mutation versus rarity and appraisal

Keep three fields separate. Rarity can be influenced by the official Forge Luck pass, whose description names Rare, Epic, and Legendary chances. Mutation is separately referenced by VIP’s Forge Mutation Luck. Appraisal has its own passes, Lucky Appraisal and Appraise Anywhere. A piece can move through these systems without the terms meaning the same thing.

When comparing sale offers, record all three. A higher offer on a mutated piece does not establish the mutation’s value if its rarity, appraisal, customer, or shop state also changed. Controlled comparisons make the eventual Dex useful.

Luck pass boundaries

Forge Luck states +65% Rare, +100% Epic, and +150% Legendary chances in its current official listing. VIP states +10% Forge Mutation Luck. Neither listing publishes a base chance, final probability, roll order, cap, or stacking formula. You cannot responsibly calculate “the mutation rate with both passes” from those descriptions alone.

Test a pass only over enough comparable forge attempts to avoid treating a short lucky streak as a rate. Record the update, input, pass ownership, other boosts, and result. Community results can show possibilities; an exact probability needs a much stronger sample and may still change after an update.

Decide whether to keep or sell

Keep the first clearly labeled example until its item card, appraisal, and customer behavior are understood. For duplicates, compare storage pressure, current cash needs, and whether another test adds useful information. Do not hoard every special-looking result while auctions and upgrades run out of cash.

If the mutation has a visible gameplay effect, decide whether your current stage can use it. If only sale value changes, compare accepted offers under similar conditions. If the effect is unknown, label the piece unknown rather than assigning it a tier.

Mutation FAQ

How many mutations are there?

The official description names three examples and says “and more,” but it does not publish a complete count.

Which mutation is best?

No verified effect table supports a universal ranking. Judge the live effect against your current goal.

Does VIP guarantee mutations?

No. The current listing states a +10% Forge Mutation Luck benefit, not a guarantee.

Can mutations stack?

Stacking, replacement, and compatibility rules need in-game testing. Do not assume multiple labels can occupy one item.
